Shaft Cover – Serial Production

An existing shaft cover design modified for improved 3D-printing and produced in serial production for a company.

Rather than simply reproducing the original design, the part was modified to make better use of the FDM printing process while maintaining its intended function.

The result is a practical solution suitable for repeat production, making 3D printing a viable manufacturing method for the application.
